Venetia La Manna
Venetia La Manna (she/her) is a broadcaster, slow fashion campaigner and co-founder of Remember Who Made Them which helps to energise a new solidarity economy in fashion.
Creator of the podcast series All The Small Things, Venetia chats to inspiring people, thought leaders, writers and activists about the rituals that help provide structure when we need it most – or perhaps if creativity lies in the chaos if it all. Since launching her podcast in 2017, it has amassed over 1.8M downloads.
Venetia is BBC Radio 1’s Sustainability Expert and discusses her top eco friendly tips to inspire listeners of the Life Hacks show. She is also the Sustainability Ambassador for The Body Shop and in 2019 went on a trip to India focusing on Community Trade and plastic waste.
Throughout her social platforms Venetia challenges fashion brands who are costing the earth and calls out retailers on their unethical practices in the fashion supply chain. Venetia’s campaigning has been recognised globally and her platform achieves an incredibly high engagement rate of 19.40% (July 2020).
